Out in the country with the Williams Family- Calgary Family Photography

As I drove east out of Calgary last Friday night I was struck again at how beautiful our country is!  A big thunder storm had hit us earlier in the afternoon and I was following the storm clouds, hoping and praying that I'd only drive through the storm and not have to shoot the lovely Williams family around it!  And in true prairie fashion, the storm dissipated and disappeared as I drove along!  But in the meantime I got to witness an amazing sky while I drove.....picture dark dark sky, green green grass and brilliant yellow canola fields!  I'd already had an amazing time enjoying the sky and I still had a family shoot to do!

I had a great time with the Williams family....they welcomed me to their family farm and I enjoyed wandering around and catching them hanging out.  They had seen some images I had taken last fall of the Kasper family and decided it was time to update their family photos.  I couldn't get enough of the kids sweet smiles, excitable energy and visiting with the little man about combines. Thank you Williams family for letting me spend Friday evening with you, I had fun!

Rock the Dress Session - Calgary Photography - Second Shooting

I had the privilege of joining Joelene of Joelene Mills Photography as she shot a Rock the Dress- Day After photo session.  I had spent the previous day as a second shooter for Chris and Crystal's wedding day and had a great time with them again the next morning!  Crystal was game for pretty much everything...except getting wet....but who could blame her? Look at that gown!

Radiant - Allison - Calgary Beauty Photography

I squeal...yes you read that right...I squeal when I get a shot that I love....sometimes I squeal internally before I even shoot it and other times I squeal while I shoot it but in any case...I squeal.  Monday night? Squeal.fest. But mostly internally....because to squeal that much would have been overkill and would have caused the gorgeous Allison to get worried!

Meet Allison....wife, mother, friend, volunteer, daughter, supporter and encourager. This woman? Amazing. She gives like there is no tomorrow.....and then gives some more.  Allison is celebrating right now....she's been working hard on getting in shape and is partying now because she's been so successful. What better way to celebrate that success than to buy a new dress, get her hair and make up done and spend some time documenting how amazing she looks!

Koston - Calgary Family Photography

Meet my little buddy Koston.....he is the firstborn of one of my favourite couples....Shawn and Tamara. This little guy? Has my family wrapped around his little finger.  We love this little guy and the way he giggles at the boys when they peek a boo him....soon he'll be chasing them around the house and it will be busy!

Recently, we've spent a lot of time praying for Koston.  He's spending some time at the Stollery Hospital in Edmonton and we're so thankful to hear that he's healing and will be coming home in a short time...you see...Tys and Ry have big plans for this guy....hockey, hide and seek, playground time, and even some babysitting in the distant future.  Koston's calendar?....full.
