Stephen and Pam Got Married! - Canmore Wedding Photography

All you could hear was the babbling brook, some birds singing and Stephen catching his breath as he gazed at his beautiful bride. That and me sniffing away the tears as I was privileged enough to capture their first look this last Saturday.  A few moments earlier Pam and I had this conversation....
"I'm going to cry before I even see him!" Pam said to me as we walked through the forest towards Stephen.  "I think I'm going to cry watching both of you cry!" I said back to her.  It was a beautiful moment, one that started off many more memorable moments throughout the whole day.

The Canmore Golf and Curling Club was a gorgeous spot to get married.  Stephen and Pam committed their lives to each other under a warm sunny sky with the Rockies as a backdrop...gorgeous? Yes! More than a few guests donned colourful rain ponchos for the ceremony, but not in case of rain rather in case of Pam shedding more than a few tears.  She held it together and promised to love and honor Stephen for the rest of her life without her expected waterworks.

I enjoyed seeing how Pam pulled her day together and was touched by all the little things she thought of.  So much so that it deserves it's own post!  (coming soon!).  We had a great time wandering around Canmore capturing Stephen and Pam and their wedding party and enjoyed getting to know them a little bit better.

I hope you enjoy the images below...stay tuned for party pictures...this post was going to be too long so I decided to break it into two!

BIG thanks to

the Canmore Golf and Curling Club for hosting their wedding.
